BEDFORD – Sen. Pat Stefano (R-32) is hosting a free Senior Expo on Thursday, Sept. 5, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Bedford County Fairgrounds, 729 W. Pitt St., Bedford.
The expo will give residents the opportunity to learn about resources and programs provided by state government, as well as local nonprofit and community groups. The event will also offer door prizes and free health screenings for those in attendance.
“It’s my goal to ensure that seniors in Bedford County are aware of the variety of programs and services available to them. I hope that our expo can highlight these initiatives so that senior citizens, as well as their family members and caregivers, can best utilize theses resources to enhance their quality of life,” Stefano said.
