SOMERSET – Sen. Pat Stefano (R-32) and Rep. Carl Walker Metzgar (R-69) are hosting a free expo for senior citizens on Thursday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to noon at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, 1845 N. Center Ave., Somerset.
The expo will allow residents to learn about resources and programs provided by state government and local nonprofit or community groups in the Somerset area.
“I encourage seniors to take advantage of this convenient opportunity to gather information and speak to agency representatives face to face about issues that matter most to them,” Stefano said.
Complimentary health screenings and opportunities to win door prizes will also be provided.
“This informative and interactive event is a great one-stop shop for seniors to obtain valuable information on any issues they may be, or are currently, experiencing,” Metzgar said.
